Instructor Training As a confirmed PADI 5* Instructor Development Centre (5*IDC) we are delighted to offer an Instructor Development Course this autumn. Course Director Barry Woods will be running the training, which involves about a week of classroom, pool and open water training, alongside a reasonable amount of home study.
If you have interest in moving "up" from Divemaster to Assistant Instructor or from DM or Assistant Instructor to Open Water Scuba Instructor please contact Toby or Amika on 0207 435 4365 or sales@scuba-zone.co.uk to confirm the schedule and requirements.

Jason's role changes Jason has decided not to continue working full time in our retail store, but to focus solely on being on and in the water. You'll continue to find him training on occasion, on UK dive trips or driving the boat.
"Better a bad day on the water than a good day in the office???"

The return of the classroom As we prepare to re-enter the arena of instructor training we've re-organised the store layout to make out second showroom into a dedicated training area containing desks, projector and screen, DVD and videa equipment, etc.
For those people who want to go through academic items in a little more detail, perhaps spending time on the RDP, the wheel or on Nitrox equations this should make the learning environment somewhat more focused. |

Swanage twice in a month? We have been to Swanage twice in the last month or so, visiting the Valentine tanks and the Kyarra, on an informal club dive basis. We will be keeping up the pace and trying to have a "diving for divers" (rather than "diving for training") trip each month, a fun and budget way to keep in practice in between the longer trips abroad.
Contact Toby for details on 0207 435 4365 or email sales@scuba-zone.co.uk and ask to be put on the mailing list. |
